A second server would be great for people with older computers because less people will play on it. I expect the server to have less RAM and storage space but that’s fine and likely won’t affect gameplay because there will be less server activity Besides, Sunrust has two servers, why not HG? There exists two realms in online interaction: client-side and server-side. If your computer can't run a game because it's old, that's a client-side issue, not a server-side issue. We just updated our server months ago and it now runs on 4.8 Ghz, which is powerful and stupid-expensive for that level of processing power. No blaming the server for your FPS problems; most problems are now client-side issues. For the secondary reason, having two servers not only costs more money, but requires more moderation and maintenance resources that are unnecessary given the current state of our primary ZS server. It's frustrating that people openly hate on ZE all the time and i need to wait a couple dozen maps before ZE shows up and then people vote bad ze map like tyranny. having a separate ze server will reduce anti ze toxicity and make ze mains happy. reduce point gain on ze server by half or more if u need to balance point farmers.
