Jareth26
Title Most of the time bosses end up being slayed by a mod anyways, so why not make it a feature. The fact there is a """feature""" where if there are too many bosses alive, no more bosses will spawn makes this issue even worse.
Talbot
This is something that would give the humans a chance during intermission, I am not sure about this.
Jareth26
@Talbot No it wouldn't 5 seconds before next round: Slay bosses 3 seconds before next round: Spawn new bosses What can humans do in those few seconds? Bosses usually kill themselves long before the 5 second mark anyways, this is just a fallback for when people (intentionally or not) troll by not refreshing bosses. Snowyamur
Then why not just revise the system from too many bosses == no new bosses -> no matter the number of bosses currently alive, the system will select the top zombie players/volunteers regardless and have them spawn as bosses, while maintaining the number of bosses that are available at any given time? We don't need something as complicated as slaying bosses 5 seconds before the end of Intermission, only to make them force-spawn 2 seconds later. Also, account for players that may not want to kill themselves given possible circumstances, or they simply don't want to kill themselves. Yes, it's annoying that there are players preventing new bosses from spawning, which is why the proposed system above is simpler and better than this complex arrangement.
