New map = T sided.

First i would like to thank everyone who participated in the map extension. I believe the extension can make newer weirder days but I would also like to talk about a few problems that we will probably meet.

 

First the new vents makes it easier for a T not only rebel but to hide and with the ratio even if its T sided now from almost every 5 wins for ct sideis 40 wins for the T side. What I propose we do is boost up the CT to T ratio from about 1/6 to 1/2 so we can make it more fair to find rebellers and control the map more. We can also make LR up to 3 people too if thats nice?

it just maens that many more baiters or freekillers

Well we cant rlly help the CT's as much.. How about gang perks for CT's too? More health some speed etc? We will always have baiters and freekillers we cant stop that but if we actually do have players that are not dumbasses on ct we can have a more controlled map.

The new map gives CTs easier access to the primary rebellion area (KA vents) and better vantage points to overwatch the T's from. What about the new map is T sided? Lol... They even changed the vents to prevent T's from crouch glitching.

 

Who cares about win-loss ratios in jailbreak? Who has EVER cared about them? CT-T W/L disparity isn't from any game mechanic or map feature. CT's lose whenever the mistakes made by CT players trump the difficulty/efficiency of the lead's orders. So happens that with the people who play in the server, the negatives tend to outweigh the positives thus CTs lose... a lot. Doesn't mean anything about fairness or legitimacy of any feature. That's just the nature of the sport so to speak.

You fucking kidding me? Even with the bonuses most of the time were dead. I remember just last week the score was 2 to 59

 

The map score doesn't mean ANYTHING AT ALL. A round counts as a win for a CT, if the lead makes it to LR. And that doesn't count towards the team score. Why? Because I'm lazy, that's why. The score could be 0 for CTs and 59 for Ts, and the lead could have made it to LR every round. Would you really say that "CTs are losing the round" No, they're leading great days.

I'm going to say that it's the negligence of CTs (both the lead and others) that prevents LR from coming around. Under some circumstances, it's more the skill of the T evading CT vision, but it's more the Ts exploiting what the CTs miss. If the CT team were 80% efficient, then they would find more success, but a lot of the CTs are either new players or not paying as much attention as would a true guard. Thus leads to the demise of the CT side.

Brian even with more CTs nothing would change, IF there are derpy noob CTs who bait and dont pay attention your gonna fail no matter what. Do not let AQ constantly defeating you blame the whole map

And now the CTs can sit by the new extended catwalk and watch over ppl with awp/rifles and if anyone is in knife arena vents you just take the new vent down to it. If anything The new map makes it easier for CTs, No more Insta bombs into armory through first cell, no more crouch glitching, hurdles which can get you to lr everyday.

 

Its just gonna take you sometime to get used to the map, don't worry we at AQ will make your stay more enjoyable

It sounds like Brian and some other people that play CT often have a problem with JUST ABOUT every thing a T can do, Lower their speed, stop the perks, the map is too complicated, too many derp ct's...I can say this with confidence...when i am on CT...WE FUCKING WIN, almost every time...now is that because I am a JB God? Maybe..or is it because I pay attention when T's rebel...even more likely ; )

Map is not T-sided. I have noticed a lot of gun planting and baiting recently ( a lot more than normal) and that's the issue here. Really really derp CTs. The gunplanting is really getting out of hand.. and all you have to do is drop your gun.. let it sit for 15 seconds.. then shoot it off somewhere where t's will walk. CT's that just stand still looking somewhere and don't watch their backs.. or ct's that don't move or watch places t's could go. Another bad thing is the lead giving bad orders that give t's the ability to easily knife ct's or run off. It's the incompetence of the player that's causing these days. When you have a bunch of the best rebellers all on T (AQ, and recently inmates and a few lone wolves) you end up with a lot of derp CTS. The only two problems i can see with this map are:

1. Don't make the glass breakable on the lower part of deagle cage

2. The lasers (when starting) shouldn't be able to kill t's on the first pass over the yellow line. (we get a lot of derps and CTS that press the button before t's are ready).

 

The way to fix the derp CT problem is to somehow set requirements to join CT (such as a certain number of rounds played in JB, or time.. ect) and a certain amount of rounds or time played on CT before you can lead. I don't know if either of these are possible, but it's failure CTs gunplanting, baiting, and not paying attention thats causing this.. not the map.

How about we replace half the ct's with bots. Now hopefully they don't turn against us and become CTU ct's.

 

Or how about reserved slots on ct for leads who are competent, no reserved for just good ct's because thats why we have bots.

That WOULD be a good idea, having like half of the CT spots reserved for people that are known to be good leads/competent, the only issue would then be administration of that list...who would choose what people are added to it and on what basis? If that is even a possibility to reserve CT for a steam ID like server slots.

edit: the problem with reserving is what if none of those reserved CTS are on the server or are playing T? you then get a very low ratio and you're left with all derps. What if the CT team is full and some reserved player joins and kicks someone off of CT unfairly when they are playing right? its too unfair and would cause too many issues.

 

what i'd say is if you can use the !statsme for jailbreak and only allow a player to join CT if they have played at least 2 hours in jailbreak, and only allow them to lead if they have played CT for 10 rounds or something of the like.. (not giving exacts, just examples)
