Navi
Well here is something. Approximately 10 minutes ago, players once again started abusing !fire. Round start, I claim lead. Then I start to lead and as soon as I start leading people started firing me for no reason. I have a functional mic, I was not spamming music so therefore they were all abusing !fire, and far as I know, that is abusing fire. I wanted to bring this issue up because this is a public command that can be abused so many times... Here some screen shots. Abusers : http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834290521/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834291290/? Some steam ID's: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834289761/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834294510/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834289019/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834292138/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834293723/? http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fredthejockyhater/screenshot/595831519834292907/? Sorry there are no demos. I will take them the next time people abuses it again.
GroundZ
Many people decided to fire joe because as soon as he claimed lead he started complaining and bitching about the previous round instead of giving orders and commands during his current round as lead. Navi
Well I've talked to Kigen and Rizon about it, but they said there were no official rule about it. So I do apologize if I kicked too many but still use your common senses.
mccaincracker
It's irritating when i have to warn the same people over and over again not to encourage fire abuse. It wouldn't be half as bad if there wasn't someone going "FIRE HIM!" etc
blackberry4511
The thing i see with this problem is that it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to monitor that command, there can be millions of reasoning for firing someone. Its all based on opinion. But, on the other hand, i think that we should be able to get rid of the people who say "Fire this kid for being a kid!" and so on. LazaHorse
Why is not liking someone not a viable reason to !fire them? If Delta Squad Paintball ever comes back and gets lead, shoosh yeah I'm firing him as soon as the round starts. If you don't want to get !fired, quit pissing people off. Very simple. When you give people a MEANS of removing you... and a REASON to remove you... ask Caesar, Hussein, Gaddafi, Kennedy, and Il ... you'll be removed. RedDevil6193
Its does get annoying when people start using it just for no reason, for one time its ok, but like every round people using it to fire lead it just not right. What sad thing is I have seen some of our HG members and Vets abuse it who should know better. Scott
Get an admin. I almost banned someone for doing that. I warned him, got proof, and fortunately for him, he stopped.
---------
Take a look at this to see what I THINK is abuse of the !fire command and isn't: https://hellsgamers.com/threads/57909-Command-Abuse-!fire The !fire command makes for trouble than its worth.. I say get rid of it! Edited December 23, 2011 by LazaHorse Fixed.
blackberry4511
The !fire command makes for trouble than its worth.. I say get rid of it! Why get rid of it when you can improve it. Maybe when you go to fire lead, a menu of reasons comes up and you need to choose one, And if you don't lead doesn't get fired.

Ia personally agree with blackberry dont remove the option but improve how it functions it would take to long to give it a little change to stop people abusing it.. maybe? if you can make a script that when used to many times by a single player they are unable to use the !fire command? thats just my opinion tho
RageQuit
There should be at least a delay for when people can start using the command. There is little to justify users typing it at 5:55.
JJK
My idea: !fire may only be used - if 20% of ts or more die within first 30 seconds / 1 min
Angel
I support having a delay for !fire'ing and/or what JJK above, abuse of !fire can get pretty bad.
