  1. The donations plugin we used to have is back and so is all our donation history! https://hellsgamers.com/donate/topdonors/ HG really needs help with donations this month. We are $500 behind being able to pay our server bills for April 1st. The last three months I've paid out of my pocket to cover our costs. I can't keep this up on my own. Any amount helps. Please make a donation: https://hellsgamers.com/donate/make-donation/ Your support is greatly appreciated! Your Donation history will display on your profile

  3. Have you ever wanted some free V-Bucks? Have you been lagging in GMOD as your grandmother does in Minecraft/Roblox? Well worry no more, here is Uni's guide to making your GMOD run like minesweeper. Please know that the advanced option in gmod by the name of "Enable Muti-core Rendering" does not do anything to help you secure your v-bucks, now what you do need if a .cfg file that auto executes every time you start up your game. I know you are all lazy as a potato grown in my backyard, so you won't have to do much "coding". First, go to your gmod file directory, "SteamLibrary>SteamApps>Common>GarrysMod>garrysmod>cfg", now you want to move the fpsboost.cfg file into your cfg folder. And surprisingly, this is the last step that you will need to do before you get your gmod running like my water cup, go into your autoexec.cfg file in your cfg folder, and then type "exec fpsboost.cfg" This will allow for the file to recognize the file and activate it once the gmod console loads up! And if you have a really crappity crap computer, here is something else that you can do besides setting up the cfg files like a champ. Put this code into your gmod launch options as follow. " +mat_dxlevel 90 +mat_trilinear 0 +mat_antialias 2 -windowed -noborder -w 1920 -h 1080 -novid" Change the mat_dxlevel to 80 or even to 70 depending on how trash your computer is, and as for the resolution setting, just adjust it as you need it to. And at last, you can go into your task manager to increase the priority for gmod, just open up Task Manager, select the Details tab, find hl2.exe, right-click the program, and then set the priority of hl2.exe to either Real Time or High, now I would personally suggest putting it on High, because Real Time means that your computer will put all its cores/processor into that one program, which could potentially slow everything else down, which isnt what you want. And that completes my guide on how to boost your fps like a real champ, if it doesn't work for you, then most of the lag is probably caused by the number of entities generated on the server you are on, so there's nothing you can do about that, but uhm, yea free vbucks. Possible Confusions: If you could have find the option to change the priority of gmod on your system, follow this guide right here: https://www.wikihow.com/Change-Process-Priorities-in-Windows-Task-Manager

  4. First of all, I do want to clarify that there are probably already multiple guides created on this topic, but as I looked through some of them, few actually contain pictures and a clear explanation of what the weapon/prop created does. So, here is an explanation of how the crafting system works in HellsGamers! (I've borrowed 2 images from an older guide on steam, here if you want to check that one out: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=400231875) [Thx Snow] Note (6/1/2020): Yea this needs to be updated, but uh, heh... Note (12/17/2020): Don't use this guide its very outdated, I quit HG a long time ago. ______________________________________________________________________________Meele Weapons / Tools SawHack Weapon: Wooden Axe + Saw Blade This weapon is less commonly used, as there are better weapons to use such as the Zewihandler and the Katana, which both does more damage and has more range than the Sawhack. + = Dual Saw-Blade: SawHack + Saw Blade This weapon is commonly crafted and used by Berserker mains, it deals great damage and can be swung at an incredible rate with the boost of the berserker trait. += The Megamasher: Explosive Barrel + Sledgehammer Less commonly crafted and used, but is a very strong weapon that can knock zombies back away from the cade and deals good damage. + = The Electro Hammer: Battery + Carpenters Hammer A superior version of the Carpenters Hammer that repairs more health to props, although not many people craft this tool as it can be bought from a supply crate, and also why would you waste a battery on this? + = The Bust-On-A-Stick: Plank + American Statue Looking Thing that is Nowhere to be Found Anymore Another melee weapon that has mediocre damage, range, and attack rate, don't bother crafting this. + = ______________________________________________________________________________Props Explosive Barrel = Canister + Barrel This prop can be used to craft the Megamasher, pretty useful. + = Bigger Wooden Box = Small Wooden Box + Small Wooden Box I guess you can use this to make a better cade? no wait yea this is useless. + = ______________________________________________________________________________Guns Dual Sprayer UZI = Sprayer' UZI + Sprayer' UZI A reliable dual wielded weapon that contains 80 bullets, it has a fast reload speed with high firerate and mediocre damage, certainly burns through ammo, but is definitely a weapon worth trying out. (Note: you can also get this weapon by redeeming.) + = Photon' Laser Crossbow = Impaler' Crossbow + Battery Certainly one of the best guns you can craft with a battery, this weapon shreds through groups of zombies like a real champ in a damp, although its ammo is expensive, you can impale a total of 20+ zombies at once which can give you an damage output of 3000+ with a single crossbow bolt if the shot is timed and positioned correctly. + = Protheium Magnum = Ricochet' Magnum + Battery One of the most commonly crafted weapons in the first wave, it deals good damage, has an extremely high accuracy which means that if you put your crosshair on your target, your shot will not miss. + = (Shitty photoshop, looks close enough) Redeemers Dual Handgun = Peashooter + Peashooter A weapon you will most likely receive when you redeem, but you can actually craft it, if you did not know that. This weapon is mediocre at best, do not bother crafting this weapon as it is a pain in the ass to find two peashooters.(Even if you waste worth menu points to buy one.) + = Wicked' Boomstick = Boomstick + Battery At last, we have the wicked boomstick, a great weapon for dealing high damage to bosses, but requires 6 shells put in at once to maximize its power. Overall, its a great weapon and definitely worth crafting if you still have your battery by Wave 3 intermission. + = (shitty photoshop again don't judge) Obliterator Mingun = Hurricane Machine Gun + Grim Reaper Machine Gun A quite expensive heavy weapon to make, but it deals massive damage to the undead and can wipe a horde of zombies in a matter of seconds. + = Precision Railgun = Gluon Laser Beam + Photon Crossbow Again a very expensive weapon to make, but it does have its benefits, with its ability to one shot over 50% of the zombies classes and basically unlimited penetration, this weapon can be extremely deadly in some situations. NO LONGER CRAFTABLE! + = _________________________________________________________

  5. Have you been having trouble making profits in ZS? Have you died before you actually got to use up the ammo for the weapons suggested by other point farm guides? And have you been listening to suggestions and following them but still fails to make good profit? Then you have come to the right place! Today, as you read this post, I will slowly teach you how not to lose any points at all! Never ever! (Note: This only applies people who do not main healer & cader, but rather weapons) Situation # 1: Let's say that you have bought an Eraser' Tactical Pistol on round 1, along with 200 pistol ammo, and by the end of the round, you are down -50 profit, and still holding the pistol with 80 pistol ammo left. From what I've seen, the majority of the server tends to buy Tier 2 immediately after wave 1; without calculating the amount of ammo left they can use to make profit, and buying a new weapon along with more ammunition, can only cause you to drop even more points and go negative. Now, since you have used up 120 pistol ammo from the first wave, you are likely to use more if not the same number of bullets the following wave, so buy up to 140 pistol ammo, (just to be safe), and using that Eraser' Tactical Pistol, you will undoubtedly make profit the next wave. Many people make the mistake of buying a weapon and ammo for that weapon each wave, as the higher tiers unlock, which is something you do not want to do. Never ever buy a new weapon without using up all the ammo in your current weapon. Do some thinking and calculating each time a wave ends, aka the number of bullets you used this wave, the points you made, the number of bullets you will likely made next wave, and the points you will likely make next wave. And adjust accordingly. Main Idea: Do not overbuy, don't get new weapons with a weapon and ammo in your hands already. Situation # 2: You have an Akbar' Assault Rifle, and after wave 2 ends, you have 400 ammo left, but you know that you are going to use more than 400 ammo the following wave, so you buy up to 1400, which you know is more than you need, but you are 'preparing yourself for the wave after the next wave', you are 'buying ammo in advance'. DONT EVER DO THAT, BUY THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY NEED FOR THE FOLLOWING WAVE AND NEVER THE WAVE AFTER THAT, DO NOT OVERBUY AMMUNITION BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE OF THE CADE FALLING AND YOU DYING WITH 1000 AMMO LEFT IN YOUR INVENTORY. As I was playing ZS today, our cade fell in the middle of the second wave, and as my comrades died, I picked up their loot only to see this : "You have picked up 1103 SMG ammo", "You have picked up 718 Medical Power", and "You have picked up 421 shotgun shells." And as I peeked at the leaderboard on the zombie side, I saw "-213", "-61", "-252", "-152", so on and so on. Main Idea: Do not overbuy ammo, because there is always that chance of you dying without you using up all the ammo. Situation # 3: Will be added soon.....

  6. Should molten crabs wait 'till wave 3? That crab seems like it would fit well in wave 3 instead of 2. 20 damage + bleed seems just a LITTLE to strong for wave 2 on top of having fast headcrabs. Also it would make a complete crab set for HG zs.

  7. As most of you fortnite gamers out there know that objective maps are available to be chosen once every 10 map rotations or so, and even more than that if the objective maps which are available aren't what the players desired. Let's say that we get a objective map that everybody likes every 15 map rotations or so, and eliminating replays, an average map takes 15-20 minutes for the zombies to get through and 30-35 minutes for the humans to win. So lets average that out, which gives us 25 minutes per map. Which means that between each objective maps, the players would have to wait 4-6 hours between each objective map in the most severe of cases. (But usually its like 1.5-3.2 hours, still pretty oofity oof.) And as you know, objective maps are fun as when you prank your friend with free vbucks. So maybe make every objective playable once every 5-8 rotations, just increase it by a little bit. (Friendly suggestion dont hate ok lov u)

  8. Human Team Step 1: Buy gun Step 2: Point weapon of choice at zombies head, unless you don't dps main like the pussy bitch you are Step 3: Shoot zombie head Zombie Team Step 1: Be normal zombie Step 2: Hit human Step 3: Buy eviscerator Step 4: Repeat step 2 unless you're a beta cunt that hits the barricade and actually helps the team win Thank you for reading Silent's guide to becoming a professional ZS players and #1 in ESEA

  17. So this is only an idea. How about change of ZE mechanics where there would always be 50 % humans and 50 % zombies; - if zombies kill a human they instantly redeem - if a human dies to a trap, then then a zombie with most damage dealt will be redeemed etc... Of course humans would still lose if a massive kill all trigger hurt kills everyone. The goal would be that the humans who DO survive at the end gets rewarded with points/cards. Would this make the game mode a little more competitive rather then one sided (and less tedious with repeating same map chapter over and over when humans cant complete the map)?
