In a general sense Icon and I have talked about this topic before, ages ago we both were against the homophobic slur (f-word) because it felt cultured into gaming almost. I had also previously argued for other topics that I now find cringe and trivial (n-word use anywhere in servers). I do think this is a good idea, getting rid of these things from our server. As times change so will HG. In my opinion we may need to look into some policies and revamp them, and then roll them out effectively. It starts with things like this, and I agree HG can be better. This will get discussed.

In this thread I am going to be posting videos of me completing different course maps. They can be used as a guide/example on how to finish the map yourself, or be watched for entertainment. I don't claim to be a pro, I am only SenpaiiPlz, so don't hate lol. I'm making these demonstration videos mostly for newer/inexperienced players, but also for the community to enjoy I will be uploading 1-3 videos at a time, starting with the first 3 I will be posting to start the thread. Others will be posted on this thread at a later time. Map logic is used to make things in the map have advance functions. Think like the jailbreak mini-games; they are built using logic entities. As for the tools they are free as far as I can tell.

I'm guessing for CSGO you can go through the whole series here. For logic tutorials, plenty is available on youtube and the documentation should be somewhat easy to understand. kinda weird that we can't say the n-word but homophobic and transphobic slurs are a-ok. IMO none should be allowed, as some groups of people may feel unwelcome in the community

As someone who had previously (like 6 years ago @Burnt) defended the use of the homophobic slur, I now cringe whenever I hear it. So I understand where those that would argue to keep it are coming from. Not saying it wasn't an issue before, but normally when people bring up similar issues they do it to cause trouble. Doesn't seem to be the case this time. I think selectively racist isn't really what I would call it, more like selectively enforcing. Like I always mess around about my, let's say heritage, with @ASCII. I say it's all on good fun, but it's something I still wouldn't be doing around others as they might be offended. I know when we mess around it's not to offend each other, which is probably why I don't really think about it much. I always think if someone is offended by something they should bring it up. Only issue is usually when they do bring something like this up is to deflect away from their own mistakes. This is probably a conversation that should be brought up at the cD meeting. Anyway I'm rambling. I like the idea of this changing because it really doesn't affect anything, but would prevent offending others. As far as jailbreak I'll change the sound as soon as I find something to replace it with. I'm thinking of doing a contest.

it’s called Ululation and it’s in many different cultures. But, yes. It’s an old islamophobic clip. It’s called the jihad sound effect. HG is pretty selective sometimes. Some divisions can’t say homophobic slurs, some look the other way. That sound clip is definitely from way back from the early 2000’s where people were more callous than now. It’s definitely islamophobic joke sound clip and defending it by saying “oh but it’s been there for so long!” is not a good defense. If that was a good defense then I guess any sort of civil rights act wouldn’t have passed or slavery would have never been abolished. If it’s an actual issue then I think leadership should look into it but I know ZS is known to be more toxic than other divisions so it also depends on what the players think.

I will have make two lists, one of the top 5 that actually have remarkable skills that outstand, like they actually show uniqueness and not just by making loads of profit but how they play because here is one thing that most don't notice, making a lot of points does not necessarily make one skillful. And the other one will have top 5 who profit well every round and are good overall. First list 1- Blueberry, this guy is basically the ultimate ZS player even though he exploits sometimes but even without doing that he has great potential that I don't see in any regular currently. 2- QUIQUENRIQUE, even though this guy zmains a lot if you see him play you would understand what I mean, he makes use of some weapons that people don't like to use and show the potential in them. To me the following two players are almost as skillful as one another so both of them will be the third place. 3 - Dr_Hamster170 and Silent Both are very good at what they do as humans especially using T6 weapons they carry the team in OBJ maps and not by using GL. 4- A White Kleiner, has a great understanding of ZS mechanics and knowledgeable about how things in the game mode work that it is like he studied it thoroughly. Second list: these players will be in no particular order - Pho - Moo - Kor - Wanderer - Grim And the list goes on, many are on the level of these in the second list. But this topic is only asking for top 10.
